Benefit brow bar experiences?

Just wondering what your experiences are.

I first got mine done when Benefit did that offer in March when you could get a brow shape in exchange for a donation to charity.

Went back this week for a shape and tint, and am now wondering if this is how they always do things.

The lady who did my brows said maybe 3 words the whole time. She wordlessly handed me the consent form, didn't explain what she was doing apart from when she tested the wax temperature on my hand.

I'm not too great with small talk, so I'm happy when people don't do that, but she was verging on taciturn. plus I think she farted

I told her that I couldn't really see a difference after the tint, and she said it matched my hair colour. That made sense to me as I didn't want them too dark, but I still can't see a difference now.

So is a brow tint just a waste of money when your hair is not blonde?

She also didn't ask anything about shape, and my brows ended up quite thin both times.

Is this just how it is?

Bumping with interest!

Not sure why you would particularly want a chat! For me it's a good chance to relax. Brows should be no darker than your roots, in my opinion.

Ah well, not a chat as such, just 'ok now I'm going to do x y z...' , 'now we have to wait x amount of time for the dye' etc rather than randomly standing around staring at her little table and making me wonder wth was going on.

Nom, I wouldn't go back to the Benefit Brow bar, the woman who did mine sounds very similar to the one who did yours. Apart from the fart! I guess I lucked out on that one!

I've been several times. Three times with the same young woman, and last time someone new. I didn't notice the chat as being out of the ordinary, good or bad. I'm always with the kids, though, so I don't really need additional distraction. I tell them I don't want the eyebrows too thin or too dark. I've been v pleased so far and the kids have a good laugh.

The first time I went the girl who did them was very good, she made sure to keep them thick and not too arched on my request.

I went back to her the next time and she ruined my eyebrows making them thin and arched and announced 'now you've got the benefit brow'. I almost cried when she showed me the mirror, I would've complained but she seemed so pleased with herself.

It's taken me four months to grow them back and it hasn't been a very attractive time for me.

I hate the benefit brow. I looked like an 80s throwback

I liked Brooke Shields.

Oh no Mumraa, that's awful.

The 'Benefit Brow' wasn't mentioned to me. I like the shape of mine, but ideally I'd like them a bit less thin. But it's my own fault as I didn't say anything.

Also meant to mention: no one tried to sell me any products. I like that, but at the same time it also makes me feel a bit like they aren't too interested in my custom or can tell I'm a total scruff usually. Is this normal?
