Recommend me an eyeliner please?

The Maybelline one I like seems to have disappeared from Boots and I'm far too old for Maybelline!

What sort of eyeliner? Do you want a liquid/gel for a solid line or a pencil for soft line?

Is it their gel eyeliner? If so, it was a dupe for the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner- which is a bit pricier but does last about 6 months

What sort of line do you want? I find that a damp eyeliner brush and dark eyeshadow (any with decent pigment will do) often give a better result than a dedicated product.

Stila smudge stick- comes in soooo many colours, is retractable, excellent pigmentation, smudges well but sets after a while if you're looking for more precision. However it is £15

I quite like the Urban Decay 24/7 pencils.

I've also heard good things about Smashbox eyeliners.
