And are these

[[http://www.whitestuff.com/daisy-pom-dress-prod407574_willow_grn/ exhibit a]]
exhibit b

a. horrible
b. mumsy
c. fresh and summery
d. it depends

Never usually look at White Stuff, its all a bit Abersoch for me but like these colours. FWIW I ould change the belts for a proper belt and wear with brogues.

Any better suggestions, esp for something a bit more urban?

Or indeed is the whole school run dress concept O.V.E.R.?

The peasant dress looks cute. No to the White Stuff ones - they look a bit dull, to me. I don't dress for the school run - I just dress for my day, but I love dresses in summer. So easy to just throw on and leave.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/04/2014 20:16

I like the look of:

this

This

This

This but is prob v v v short

Topshop usually do good t-shirt dresses but the site isn't showing much at the moment.

I like dress 1 but not 2 or 3

I didn't wear a frock to drop my DC off or pick them up (I can't abide "School Run"

But as I walked 20 minutes there (fast) and 30 minutes back (uphill and slower with DC) , I needed to be in training shoes not pretty dresses Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/04/2014 20:20

Indians - I nearly linked that one too. Looks nice.

LovelyMarchHare · 24/04/2014 20:20

Not mad keen on either tho they aren't offensive by any means. At a push I prefer the second.

Oh I love the school run dress bosom hoiking! It makes me feel like summer has begun! I've got this.

ElizabethJennings · 24/04/2014 20:27

I don't like any of them. Hasn't johnnie got any nice ones?

TheRealMaryMillington · 24/04/2014 20:29

I say no to Boden for adults

OP posts:
skinnyamericano · 24/04/2014 20:29

Quite like the WS ones, but really dislike the People Tree dress.

Are you a Boden fan?

wolfofwestfieled · 24/04/2014 20:31

Was just wondering about this french connection one half price but can't work out if I think it's a bit frumpy or not..

The dresses are horrid.

cerealqueen · 24/04/2014 20:32

I'm wearing all my clothes anywhere these days. School run, tesco, country park, don't care. Fed up of keeping stuff for best, or whatever that means these days. Broke SAHM, I have no best.

So buy a fabulous dress and enjoy it!

skinnyamericano · 24/04/2014 20:32

PS - I get exactly what you mean - sometimes you need a quick shower and bung on a dress to pop to school in. You can't always wear what you've been gardening in unless you are the Mum at my school who appears in the teeniest shorts and bikini top

dexter73 · 24/04/2014 20:35

obladee - could you link to some nice ones please?

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 24/04/2014 20:38

I think the French Connection one is cute.

TheRealMaryMillington · 24/04/2014 20:42

I usually get quite a visceral reaction to Boden, and not in a good way, but I like that in the stripes, Skinny.

PolkaSpottyDotty · 24/04/2014 20:57

I like the first H&M one, fits my teeny tiny budget too.

Notfootball · 24/04/2014 21:24

Love the Gap ones, not the other ones so much. I'll try to find some to link to.

littlegreengloworm · 24/04/2014 21:30

I totally get the dress thing. Why not look nice on the school run?

I don't do the school run, so I'm out Grin

No, joking. I kike this type of this as you can throw a cardi over it snd is will see you through to autumn

BeattieBow · 24/04/2014 21:40

I like this one I think - but the reviews say it's a bit sack like.

I don't wear school run dresses because I work now, but the concept is good for weekends - to get the papers, nip to the shops, whatever. I don't get why people get so uppity about it (and it was started only half seriously in the first place iirc).

Hebburnisaplaceonearth · 24/04/2014 22:34

Sainsburys denim dress is nice on, esp for the price here
