Wonderbra ultimate strapless bra?

I'm a 38FF, anyone else around the same size as me have this bra? What's it like for support? Are you constantly having to hoik it back up because it slips down like previous (cheaper) strapless bras I've had?

I have one (32E) and I love it.

Once it's on it doesn't budge. No hoiking required at all!

I'm a 38F so pretty much the same size. I have two! I find it stays up brilliantly and gives such a nice shape that I have been known to wear it when I don't need strapless! It has revolutionsised my wardrobe!

Having said which, I would wear it for a special occasion or evening out, it's not so comfortable that I would wear it all the time!

it's an excellent bra, but comes up small in the back, I had to go up a back size.

Agreed Hazle it's very tight on me even on the loosest fastening.

It's not the most comfortable bra in the world but worth it for the results .

Tight is fine, I can cope with tight :o

It's excellent - sizing a bit funny so go somewhere to try on (Debenhams usually stock it) and try on a variety of sizes around what you usually wear. I'm a 30HH and ended up buying a 32G

I'm a 34DD and its bloody marvellous.
You need to bend over and catch them, do some scooping and a bit of hoiking when you put it on.
But then you're Ok.
I wore mine for a day of sightseeing and walking, there was minimal fiddling through the day.

I have found it to be the best strapless bra ive ever tried. Also like one if the posters above I have been wearing it under normal tops not just strapless as I like the shape it gives

Surely this thread just proves how right the bra intervention girls are - the tighter the back to provide support for boobs, the better. It's not about the straps at all. :)

Bra intervention girls = the crazy bra obsessive ladies who stalk style and beauty (and occasionally some other boards too) trying to educate people about how a bra should fit.

Summarised version: bras have elastic. It's amazing, we know. But...someone forgot to tell a shedload of retailers so loads of them are still fitting using an old method where they measure your underbust and add 4" to get your band size. It's bollocks and means you get no support, and can actually cause health issues. Biggest culprits; Marks and Spencer, Ann Summers, La Senza, BHS, Boux Avenue, Mothercare...basically most major shops. Bravissimo do it right, as do Rigby and Peller. John Lewis do most of the times.

Ohh right! Thanks! Do Debenhams do it right? That's where I got measured. The lady measured my underbust, eyeballed my chest then said something like 'I'll go and get you some F's, FF's and G's to try.' Since then I've bought 38FF bras from Bravissimo and they've fitted fine as far as i can tell. Yy to shoulder straps not being needed, mine are constantly falling down. I would love it if I never had shoulder straps again :o

Debenhams are variable - some stores good, some awful. If your shoulder straps fall down, it doesn't fit right. That's a sign the band is too big. Mind me asking what dress size you are?

I'm in bed now but I'll do that tomorrow. Dress size I'm 18/20 (depends what shop I'm in :o ) usually a 20 on top though to accommodate the boobs.

Mind you, my bras do really need replacing, especially the one I wear a lot, the back isn't quite as elasticky as it used to be and the straps have always been shit at staying where they've been adjusted to, the sliders just slide, they don't stay put.

It's possible that you're a 38 (depends on body shape) but based on the experience on here there is also a fairly high chance that you aren't. Most size 18s tend to be somewhere around a 34

Underbust 35" and overbust 48", so what does that work out at...?

If your shoulder straps fall down it means your back size is too big iirc.

Your measurements suggest trying a 34J/JJ and a 36HH/J.

If you scoop whilst wearing your 38FF have you got overspill?

Nope, no overspill. Maybe just a teensy bit in the right cup, but the left cup is a wee bit baggy. My boobs are odd, it's very annoying!

I'm a size 12-14 and I'm 33 inches

All the 32s I've tried have felt rib crushing. Should I try them again?
