I've literally got nothing left. I'll have to resort to Impulse! I've got through Armani Elle and an oldie but goody Pacvo Rabbanne I don't want mega strong or expensive, just something to keep in my locker to freshen up in the afternoon.

D&G Rose The One - EDT - lovely and not too headachy.

Botanicbaby · 24/04/2014 00:35

clarins eau dynamisante

amazonianwoman · 24/04/2014 00:37

I love the blue Clarins.

DameDoom · 24/04/2014 00:56

Estee Lauder White Linen - am revivalist. It is elegant and age appropriate so long as you don't over do it. I probably do!

Robfordscrack · 24/04/2014 01:21

Clarins is always good!

MsAspreyDiamonds · 24/04/2014 07:14

Envy by Gucci

Leviticus · 24/04/2014 08:39

YY to any Clarins. Elizabeth Arden Green Tea is lovely and fresh and can be picked up very cheaply.

canny1234 · 24/04/2014 08:53

One of the Pradas.I wear infusion d'iris eau de toilette when I want a subtle perfume. There are several variants on the All Beauty website.Alternatively Lovely is meant to be nice as is Deseo. All Beauty has really good prices for lots of perfumes though so have a look.If you find one you think you might like look it up on Fragantica and review the feedback.

itsnothingoriginal · 24/04/2014 12:14

Have a look at M&S - the only thing they are doing well at (imo Grin) is beauty and fragrance!

Some lovely scents in their own ranges and they also do Fragonard, Lyn Harris, Monotheme and others. I had a lovely half hour in there yesterday sniffing my way through them all!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 24/04/2014 12:52

Another note for either Eau Dynamisante, either the classic red bottle or the blue one, I can't recall the name. Order on line for a better deal.

Apatite1 · 24/04/2014 13:10

Modern muse (Estée Lauder)

I keep recommending this one for work!

polyhymnia · 24/04/2014 13:23

Eau Dynamisante definitely . I wear the red version for everyday and would like a nice fresh smell like that next to me - nothing sweet or strong !

polyhymnia · 24/04/2014 13:25

Agree a Miller Harris, or Lyn Harris from M and S, citrussy one also OK.

polyhymnia · 24/04/2014 13:26

White Linen on the other hand I find nauseating.

cressetmama · 24/04/2014 13:48

Bulgari Eau Parfumee au The Vert is lovely, very light and fresh, but not easy to find these days!

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 24/04/2014 13:52

I love the smell of White Linen as the very kind scbu nurse who looked after ds wore itSmile

maybemyrtle · 24/04/2014 14:02

In the summer I wear Acqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta which is gorgeous, but I'm trying Miller Harris Fleurs du Sel at the moment. A cheap and similar-ish alternative to the AdP is 4711 - good for a refreshing spritz but doesn't last long.

polyhymnia · 24/04/2014 14:15

Yes to Fleurs du Sel. Another old favourite which smells fresh is Annick Goutal's Eau d'Hadrien.

umiaisha · 24/04/2014 14:22

I love Origins Ginger Essence. Gorgeous and helps keep you awake!

specialsubject · 24/04/2014 14:41

NOTHING That can be smelt outside your very immediate vicinity, i.e. closer than colleagues should be.

if you need to freshen up, have a wash.

offices can be very stuffy and many people (me included) don't like artificial reeks any more than any other kind.

polyhymnia · 24/04/2014 14:58

Yes, must admit that would be my 'ideal' answer too as far as the office is concerned. Other suggestions are for smells least likely to annoy (IMO - it's all v subjective) if you really feel you must wear something for work.

aoife24 · 24/04/2014 16:28

A Jo Malone, maybe basil, lime and mandarin, not too heavy but fresh and zingy.

TerraNotSoFirma2 · 24/04/2014 16:35

I Just got armani si for mothers day and itsgorgeous, but its a bit expensive for wearing for work.
I'll tell you my guilty pleasure perfume just for work.......Charlie gold. Blush

polyhymnia · 24/04/2014 16:52

Have to say I would not be at all happy if I could smell Armani or Charlie anywhere near me at work - much too strong and cloying!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/04/2014 17:14

Yes to the Red Clarins.

Or I like Kenzo Flower, as it's nice and light, or one of the Paul Smith ones. CK do a nice, light, citrussy one, but can't remember what it's called.

Origins Ginger is nice - but I'm still on an anti-Origins drive.
