Help- Soft ballerinas / flats which do not rub ?

I'm struggling and have returned from an outing with blisters again. Any recommendations for some flat plain pumps which can be worn with jeans or leggings? Thanks

I think someone on here mentioned a ballet flat by Hush Puppies which aren't too offensive and are comfy.

be aware that totally flat shoes are not ideal in the same way as high heels aren't.

ballet pumps are for use in the house or parties. If you are walking anywhere, you need real shoes.

Having tried many flats over the years including spending huge sums of money on extremely uncomfortable expensive ones including Kurt Geiger and Russell & Bromley I have decided that cheap is the way forward. I currently have one pair which were £7 in the Tesco sale and another pair which are a lattice style from Dorothy Perkins and they are both like wearing slippers. The DP ones in particular look far more expensive than the £15 they were. I usually find M&S pretty good too.

I read the reviews on the M&S site, most of the ballet pumps seem ti have really thin soles this year . I had some cheapie Primark pumps for holiday last year and wore them on the way home, forgetting how far and how quickly we needed to walk in the airport.
I had heel pain after for at least 2 weeks

I got some on the M&S clearance but the sizes are a bit variable. I'm a 5.5 but there's no half sizes. Got a 5, (I have very narrow feet) fit is fine and they have a chunky cushioned tread sole.
Not the most glamorous but I don't care.

Softest ones I have are from Topshop. Never had any blisters and owned about 10 pairs.

I have ruined a number of pairs in the tropics, but not too bad at 15 quid a pair - they tend to last me about 6-9 months.

i just got some karmen from office, not leather but comfortable, i can walk for miles in them contrary to the other post!

I have 2 pairs of ballet flats from next which are super comfy and supportive, for a ballet flat.

Nordstrom in the states as I have large feet.

I find these hush puppies very comfy. But I also have some cheap ones from next a couple of years ago which are great too.

mrsdavidb how do you find the bit that goes across your big toe? I have a high arch and normally a ballet flat digs in right there and is very painful.

I've thrown out so many pairs. I really want some. Those edelmans look like they might be okay with the softer edging. I have big feet and a bit wide too, just to round them off.

Camper right are super soft leather and really comfy. If you don't want the strap, the case casino line look pretty much the same and (I'd assume) are made of the same leather.

All shoes tear up my feet (pretty much instantly), but not these.

Clarks have some seriously comfy ballet flats, with a decent sole. I have some leopard ponyskin ones that I could walk miles in.

I own 3 pairs of the Gabor ones ( with a sort of bow) they have proper soles and footbed, can walk on them all day. Look nice with skinnies.

They look nicer in real life, and last long (hardwearing)

All shoes rub my feet. Seriously, ALL shoes.

The best flats I have are Toms. I'm not really style savvy so not sure if its the sort of thing that are popular at the mo or not, but I wore them in round the house for a while and then the canvas just moulds to your foot. Comfiest show ever. And they do have some slight support for your arch too.

I bought some lace footsie socks from primark. You can't see them in any pumps/shoes, they stay on and stop any rubbing!

I love the hush puppies ones, they are the comfiest ones I've ever had, and they last more than one year so are worth the money!

there are some Sam Edelman Felicia's at Shopbop at the moment - they are around £55 I think.

I have the same problem - all ballet flats dig into me by my big toe. I have just got some from Zara (leather ones) and they are fairly comfortable.

I'm hankering after these at the moment. No idea if they'll be comfortable.
