Hairbrush

So, have looked into mason pearson brushes but they seem to get mixed reviews.
Have already got tangle tamer and teaser but am not overly impressed.
I want a brush that will leave long, mid thickness hair silky smooth and shiny?
Any other recommendations please?

I've just bought a brush in Boots that is paddle shaped but has a mop Head in amongst the brush. It was dirt cheap at £12.99 and has made my bleached, dyed three times in a week hair, lovely and sleek.

It's big and easy to use, especially with product.
