Jeans with a muffin top?!

So I've been left with a pretty pudgy tummy after giving birth and am wondering if there are any jeans that can disguise this?

I bought high waisted lightweight jeans for straight after and wore with loose tops over but you can see the outline of the belt with most normal tops worn over high waisted. Now have regular rise skinnies but unattractive podge over the top so they're no good either! I seem to be stuck between size 12 and 14 (just around the tummy Confused) post pregnancy as well so need to wear a belt...

What about jeggings with an elasticated waist? The stretch in the material will help to hold you in and you won't need to wear a belt.

Topshop's high-waisted skinnies are good and very comfy. They're called Joni jeans.

As I never wear my tops 'tucked in' I carefully remove all the belt loops as soon as I get a pair of high-waisted jeans, so there's nothing to show through the top.

Plein Sud are very good for jeans that fit well with no belt loops.

You could try an Invisibelt with high waisted.

When I fasten my buckle I then twist the belt to the side so the buckle isn't right in the middle where it would stick out the most.

Gap's high-waisted styles work for me.

Bunbaker · 21/04/2014 18:59

Talisin you are a star. As a pear shape who needs to wear belts with jeans where the waist is too big, you have the answer to my problems Grin

RiojaHaze · 21/04/2014 19:02

The Next super sexy high waisted skinnies work well for me, although require a lot of funny positions to get into them!

polyhymnia · 21/04/2014 19:11

Ah interesting, Bunbaker. Because I'm an hourglass it never occurred to me that women have to wear belts to keep their jeans up rather than to look nice!

Smerlin · 21/04/2014 23:22

So I guess the next question is: what do you wear your high waisted jeans with? Tucked in or out?

I posted about belts recently and some one mentioned a smake belt . I ordered one from eBay for about £5 and it keeps my trousers uo without causing a horrible lump at the front

HappyGirlNow · 22/04/2014 12:46

Wear higher waisted trousers and I buy tight vest tops from Primark to wear under tops (tuck into jeans) and that pulls in the muffin top.

Impatientismymiddlename · 22/04/2014 12:48

You can just wear a shape wear slimming vest under your tops to smooth out the tummy area without any bulk.
