Waitrose Pure eye makeup remover

WTVF have they done to it? I've used it for the past couple of years, loved it, recommended it loads... and now it's got new packaging and apparently a new formulation, and stings like a bastard.

What can I use instead? Don't like Simple.

I love Boots Botanics eye make up remover. Does the job, doesn't sting at all and is cheap as chips.

Thank you - will give that a try. It's one of the things I really resent paying lots of money for.

Ahhh. I thought my eyes had got more sensitive! yes, it is deffo more stingy. I like micellar water.

L'Oreal do a nice, cheapo one.

Garnier, the blue one, it's cheap and effective. No stinging at all.

Fresh essentials- green coloured. Think it's Loreal or Garnier. No sting.

Funny - I have three on the go at the moment: Waitrose, Simple and Garnier. My favourite is the Blue Garnier Simply Essential.

I was also WTF when I got a bottle a couple of weeks ago. Stings and makes my eyes red. I've also recommended it loads IRL and on here, so now look a twat!

I went back to the boots botanics one and it is fine. Their packaging has also changed but the product seems the same.

Am going to take the Waitrose one back next time I go in there. Haven't got the receipt, but it's the principle rather than getting the money back. They need to know the new version is shit!

I have just tweeted them. Obviously far more important things to get wound up about, but it is v annoying when something you like gets ruined in the name of new and improved!
