Dd is 10 and her nose seems to have entered its teens.

She's just come back from a week at camp and its much worse, it looks like washing hasn't been a priority. No actual spots, but very bumpy and some redness.

She's been using face wipes for a while, but i think we need to step up to a cleanser and moisturiser.

Any recommendations would be appreciated, she needs a simple routine and preferably not too expensive.

I use cleanse and polish and liz earle moisturiser and was thinking she could share (own cloth of course) does anyone have any experience of this brand on a young skin?

We have a large boots nearby so access to most brands, except liz earle which i order online.

My niece (14 urs old) uses the same moisturiser as you and she looks great now, she used to have lots of spots and red marks. Maybe just let her share with you Smile

Simple is also a great range for young skin and fairly cheap Smile

La roche posay effaclar duo+ has saved my skin. LE has cocoa butter in it, it's spot forming apparently.

I have read rave reviews about Sam Farmer products for teens - apparently brilliant and well priced

MrsLindor · 20/04/2014 21:29

JokersGiggle I'm a bit wary of simple, I've had a reaction to it myself in the past, although that doesn't mean dd would.

I've never heard of Sam farmer, thanks for the link.

No worries Easter Smile I like his philosophy on products for young people

Watching with interest as DD (also 10 - just come back from PGL) has the same thing only on her chin and forehead rather than her nose.

MrsLindor · 20/04/2014 22:38

I think in dds case it's a combination of probably using soap on her face at camp, and puberty.

She's already developed hair and the beginning of breasts, i don't think i can put off the conversation any longer. "Changes" is on the curriculum for next term anyway so I'll probably raise it this week while she's still off school and we have plenty of time.

Not looking forward to it.

Elemis do a Fresh Skin range which isn't mad expensive for pre teen & teens.
