Has DH lost the plot?

I made a throwaway remark about not buying expensive shampoo in Sainsburys,as he's now out of work, so for my birthday he gives me this complete with matching conditioner. Look at the price - he's lost the plot!

What a thoughtful present. Please don't say anything to him about cost. Being out of work he's trying to give you the little luxuries and probably feels pretty crappy. I'd use it and then make comments about how great it is and if he hadn't bought it you'd never have tried it. Perhaps use every second wash with cheaper one to make it last longer.
