oi blinners -the Mango tabbed pencil skirt how stretchy is it? I like it TIGHT as have thin legs and otherwise look like I am wearing a lampshade

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 07:59

But using my old trusty This Works leg oil. Expensive but good

BillStickersIsInnocent · 04/05/2014 08:02

Still first pair then - although second pair says jacquard too but doesn't look as shiny?

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 08:10

plus lol at dry clean - i dont think so..

noddyholder · 04/05/2014 08:10

Both pairs lovely with bare legs I wouldn't do opaques think it makes shorts look studenty Oil on bare legs nicer

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 08:13

plus bloody hell i shoved the indigo collection lace t in the dryer and I think it has shrunk marginally...

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 08:27

noddyholder · 04/05/2014 08:38

Love that length

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 04/05/2014 08:38

I like the first pair of shorts - I am waiting for a code and then I will try them too. Not sure that a Gap code will work for BR, though. When when WHEN is the next BR code? I've had Gap codes a-plenty, but I want BR.

When I am next near a M&S I will look for you. If you get desperate, if you can get them to find one in central London, I can pick it up for you - just PM me if you want to do this.

I saw that Zara skirt online - pretty, but sleek.

Re pointed flats, they make me feet look longer than ballets do,but I don't care as I really like them. I wore round toe ballets yesterday and, pretty much, frowned when I looked down. I'm not superficial, no, not deep down [paraphrasing Ava Gardner]

Glad the Perspex heels worked out - they do look good!

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 08:39

yes I agree although tbf I did say gap/br I think
its been AGES

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 08:40

( and thanks!)

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 08:42

i think i should retry flat and pointy, I only did those next ones that were the Boden dupes and they didnt fit my skeletal feet.
In the 80s pointy was the way all good grammar school goths went Wink

noddyholder · 04/05/2014 08:50

I find the slightly pointy slipper ones easier

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/05/2014 08:51

I'll be in town later today, so will have a look for you.

Love both pairs of BR shorts but the first pair win for me - personally I'd only wear shorts with opaques at night time in Britain, but that's because a) I still am a bit of a student at heart and b) my legs are very white and a bit wobbly at the top of the thighs.

I talked myself out of wearing shorts last night though - opaques felt all wrong for the sunshine. There was a woman in the pub (v young and slim) wearing leggings with Luke Skywalker on them - dp seemed unreasonably fascinated!

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 08:54

leggings with luke skywalker on?
all kinds of wrong
btw i tried that Marks leading ladies cream blouse yesterday.

  1. its a dirty cream
  2. the inverted pleat type thing at the front didnt suit
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/05/2014 08:56

The leggings were insane but dp couldn't keep his eyes off them. Strange man.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 04/05/2014 09:30

DH had Star Wars bed linen. One of the first things that left the building when I moved in (we were obvs young way back then). I certainly wouldn't be wearing sci fi.

Inverted pleats can be so cruel.

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 09:44

Remers - any news on shoes? Did you order any?>

KosherBacon · 04/05/2014 09:46

Well today IS Star Wars day. May the 4th be with you and all that.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 04/05/2014 10:16

Nice leopard print slippers from Dune: www.dunelondon.com/limbo-leopard-print-pony-slipper-shoe-0076500620005488/

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 10:35

Like those a lot

noddyholder · 04/05/2014 11:00

I am going to wear mine today for a change.

MelonKim · 04/05/2014 11:15

Your luke sky walker leggings?

noddyholder · 04/05/2014 11:19

Yes with my ponyskin slippers ;)
