oi blinners -the Mango tabbed pencil skirt how stretchy is it? I like it TIGHT as have thin legs and otherwise look like I am wearing a lampshade

Twangy bit?

lurkingaround · 02/05/2014 18:18

Oh! I see the slant! Even more lovely. Really like them. Must try.

Forlornhope · 02/05/2014 18:19

Elasticado at the side

Forlornhope · 02/05/2014 18:19

lurking and FH clomp past Remus sassily

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/05/2014 18:20

Still hate the heel. Do like the slant.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/05/2014 18:21

I don't think I have done anything sassily in my entire life.

Forlornhope · 02/05/2014 18:21

i yearn to be many things.
Sexy is one and gamine is another

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/05/2014 18:22

Yes to gamine. Have cut my hair but can't be gamine when over 40, with specs. :(

lurkingaround · 02/05/2014 18:27

Grin sassily clomping on.
Don't buy the elasticado Remus, they're plastic. You won't like them next week.

I yearn (well 'yearn' is a bit strong but y'know) for small hips and thighs so I can wear lovely pencil skirts and not look as ridiculous as K Kardashian.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/05/2014 18:28

Oh I wouldn't buy plastic shoes - ever.

noddyholder · 02/05/2014 19:17

Gamine I dream of that too can't do with boobs!

LaTrucha · 02/05/2014 21:05

I have spent the first part of Friday night going through this thread and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you.

DesperateHousewife21 · 02/05/2014 21:16

Loving the shoes...must admit ive just bought £20 New Look black ones ill try find a link. I love the heel, not too high but enough for an occasion (going to a christening on sun)

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 02/05/2014 21:40

Ha ha ha - "sassy"! I like the M&S ones w Insolia and bet they are v comfortable. I like my Dune ankle boots and the Appoint heels felt good when I tried them on, so also worth a try. When I can, next week, I hope to go and try those Darling d'orsay heels on and have a walk around in them. Shame Banana Republic aren't doing anything you like the look of as they are v comfortable. Jones the Bootmaker? They have just discovered memory foam inners, a la BR, too.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 02/05/2014 21:41

Btw, I think the Jigsaw Jane heels are a v sleek looking chunky heeled shoe, but are a bit £££.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 02/05/2014 22:20

Have you got little feet? Mine are like canoes, but if yours are daintier... www.shopatanna.com/sam-edelman/desiree-heel-black/

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 02/05/2014 22:21

And if you are looking for fierce, but blissfully comfy flats and have little feet... www.shopatanna.com/sam-edelman/adena-studded-loafer-black/

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/05/2014 22:25

Thanks, B.

Absolutely love both of those, but 1st are too high for work and I don't really need flats. I do have little feet! I also need to buy irl, not online as really cba with sending stuff back.

noddyholder · 03/05/2014 08:53

noddyholder · 03/05/2014 08:57

lurkingaround · 03/05/2014 09:33

noddyholder · 03/05/2014 09:37

Comfy surprisingly

AnnabelleDarling · 03/05/2014 10:16

Loving the links on this thread!

Those Sam Edelman Adena's that Belinda linked to are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, I love them. Great alternative to ballets, look much cooler.

lurkingaround · 03/05/2014 10:31

Shame the Edelmans are only available in small sizes.

Are they v comfy noddy? I remember about 100 years ago I had a not dissimilar pair from Mango. Really high but oh so comfy. Perfect going out shoe. Gave them to my sister for 1 night out. Never got them back! Tut. Have been looking for my perfect going out shoe since.

noddyholder · 03/05/2014 10:40

yes so comfy! Tried identical in KG which killed my feet! i have flat slippers from otherstories they are great
