My friend is going to Paris and asked if I want anything?

Anyone know of any good products or anything you can't get here?

Thanks :)

I'm in Paris and it seems pretty much everything is more expensive than in the UK Sad
Except for wine!

Really? Oh no!
I did ask for wine haha!

Go for the French local brands. How about unique Clarins or Nuxe ?
There can also sometimes be smaller sample bottles of French perfumes in Sephora too.
Have a look online.

Get her to stock up on La Roche Posay Serozinc. You can't get it in the UK, and it's a brilliant toner, if you're prone to red skin at all. La Roche Posay is great generally, though. Also, Leonoryl Grey hair care is good, La Petit Marseille soap is lovely, and Homeoplasmine is a great first aid cream, which makes a brilliant lip balm, too. Look our for Klorane, as well. Their dry shampoo is excellent.

On Clarins, I use their products and go to France a lot but sadly have never found their stuff to be any cheaper there since the Euro came in (before that, it used to be great to go to Sephora and stock up at considerably lower prices). Nor have I found any products there we don't have here.

I buy loads of sephora own brand make up when I go to France. They have an awesome new mascara (look on their website, it has two brushes) which I love, their eye palettes are great - the ones for particular eye colours are fab. Oh and I only use their liquid eyeliners, they last really well, I particularly like the glittery ones :)

ALSO longchamp do a gorgeous bag with an Eiffel Tower on it you can only get in paris if you have a spare 85 euro?

In Sephora (Champs Elysee branch) Clarins costs more than in the UK Sad

polyhymnia · 18/04/2014 19:23

Yes, I know! One of my favourite treats (also used to buy Sisley there) gone since the advent of the Euro. But I still enjoying my trips to the para pharmacies -Rue du Four one my favourite.

Diptyque candles.

Blithereens · 19/04/2014 08:25

Sephora! True pink lip balm and eyebrow gel are my favourites.

Love Diptyque candles and used to buy them in Paris for very good price pre-Euro but post Euro have found they are the same price as in Space NK.

Twinklestein · 19/04/2014 14:19

I would stock up on Caudalie and Roger & Gallet.
