Please help me find a replacement scent.

I've worn Acqua di Parma's 'Profumo' for years and never intended to switch to anything else. It was just perfection.

Then, the new rules on oakmoss came in and LVMH decided to scrap it and make a new version - and I loathe it .

My taste is for the big old-fashioned chypres.

So far I have tried:

Mitsouko
Femme (Rochas)
31 Rue Cambon (Chanel)
Tubereuse Indiana (Creed)
Colonia Intensa Oud (AdP)

Sadly none of them come in samples so I have only managed to either try some on in the shop or have them on cardboard. Before I start spending money on trying them properly, I was wondering if there are other suggestions.

Have you tried the Acqua di Palma Arancia di Capri in the blue bottle?

Try Nose - its a French perfume company that will send you several samples for 10 Euros.You answer a series of questions to assess the type of scents you like and then they pick the samples for you and usually send you a couple of extra ones.Several people on the perfume thread have done this.Or try Surrender To Chance for Chypre sample sets.
