jacket/spring coat ideas

Desperately need something now the weather is (slightly) warmer as only have thick winter coat. Would like something relatively 'cool' so as to not look too smart and officey on weekends. Last autumn had a denim jacket with sheepskin inside which I loved but lost. Wondering whether to rebuy a similar one but thinking maybe I can't pull it off and is too self consciously trendy? Thoughts anyone?

I'm wearing my leather biker jacket at the moment till the weather gets a little warmer.

As for the denim/sheepskin jacket, go for it if you like it but if you are just going to feel self conscious then may be try something else.

What's your budget? This from Cos would make a good spring/summer coat (maybe more summer with the sleeves).

That Cos coat is so beauteous but I think slightly out of price range and a bit smart. I want something casual and throwing on ish that wouldn't look out of place on country weekends away. I am thinking something like this? Although maybe that is just a glorified cardi.
