Cos sizing

Never bought from there before

How is the sizing? Does it come up small/large?

Thanks

Quite random, in my experience. I tried on a medium top (I'm size 12) and could have fitted Luciano Pavarotti (when he was still alive, obviously) in there. Other things, e.g. skirts, have been fairly true to size.

Thanks

I'm a 12 too, sometimes a 10

Totally random. When I go to Cos, I often take 2 or 3 sizes of the same garment into the changing rooms. They do have some good things in Cos, but it would say either be prepared to spend a good hour or so searching for things on the rails (I find their shops quite difficult to navigate) and then trying on various sizes, or order online and then know you are likely to gave to return a high percentage of what you order. Returns by post take around 6 weeks to be refunded to your card - very infuriating!

Ah thanks

I've seen a couple of bits on eBay

Might rethink though as seems like it could be a gamble!

big. i always go down at least 1 size

Agree. Was in there last week and a pair of size 12 trousers were falling off me - which was a delightful and unprecedented experience, but more to do with their sizing than my recent bitter brush with the 5:2 diet.

Belalug0si · 12/04/2014 23:32

On the Cos website there's usually a description of whether it's oversized, relaxed, fitted etc. I usually compare the eBay stuff to similar current clothes at Cos to get a feel for the fit.
Depending on the style and how you want to wear it there is some play in which size to go for.

A bit random in my so far limited experience. I find my usual size generally ok, but their easy fit stuff can be huge, and I have two skirts of the same design in the same size - different colours - and one is much bigger than the other.
