Something different??

I am going to Ascot in July, so its not Ladies' Day but still a dressy up affair. I have been for the last 10 years and always, always wear a dress. Has anyone got any ideas for something different? I am just a bit bored of the same old, same old and would like to look a bit different. Been watching a thread about stylish people at weddings and am quite interested in separates. That is nice Funnyfoot thanks but I am 43, not sure if I would get away with it ! For what its worth, I am 5' 4, size 12 on top, 10 on the bottom ( hence the Asos jumpsuit not fitting and why I am drawn to separates)

Could you not buy a 12 in the jump suit then pay for alterations? Would probably be quite cheap and would give you a very tailored fit

I know, I know, it is cute, and I am normally not afraid to push the boundaries a bit but was after something more... demure??? I really liked the Asos jumpsuit but it was reallly baggy on the arse. Not a good look.

I really don't think there is anything a dressmaker could do with the jumpsuit, anyway, I sent it back! Dh said it did nothing for me and a dress would be nicer.
