Hair straighteners

My GHD's have just given up, I'm gutted! But they've been used almost every day for straightening and sometimes adding waves for probably about five years. They've had a good innings.
Need to replace them, and I can't really afford GHD's these days. Do any others compare?

I've got some remington ones and they are great. Adjustable temp control and they straighten and curl brilliantly. they were around £30 and are just as good as any more expensive ones ive used before

Still none the wiser. Need someone to decide for me

I saw your thread just as I'd posted mine Grin

Who knew it would be so confusing. It's a minefield! Why are GHD's so expensive. I can't justify it all all (but I want to)
