Deck/boat shoes?

I am really fancying some deck shoes this spring as a sock less alternative to trainers/converse or more formal loafers with jeans.

Am I just having a deeply unfashionable moment?

Go for it!I have deck shoe type wedge loafers and love them, even if mist may think they're a bit weird lol they are red though and not flat!

I just like the slightly nautical vibe (and that they can easily be kicked on and off while juggling toddlers)

watch it - they tear your feet to pieces if worn without socks and have no grip in the wet.

had to wear them as part of a uniform. Everyone had the same problem.

also discovered why they are called boat shoes - because that is what they make your feet resemble...

so they score a total zero on the footwear category in that they hurt, don't grip and look awful.

I had some Timberland ones about 15 years ago and used to hike in Hong Kong in them and they were so comfortable. I saw them in Timberland yesterday and have been hankering after some since then.
