Foundation that doesn't go patchy on dry skin

Hi,
I've been using bare minerals for sometime but fancied a change.
So I bought lorel eau de something but it seems to have settled in my pores and exaggerated any dry patches on my nose and chin. I moisturised and primed first.

Does anyone have foundation recommendations for dry but spotty skin?
Thanks

I use Garnier BB Cream, then a bit of loose powder, its great.

Its light & blends well.

Ugh no, the garnier bb is awful on my dry skin!

At the mo I am using Liz Earle tinted moisturiser for everyday and Max Factor whipped creme foundation if I want to make a bit more effort. Both blend nicely, give decent coverage and don't exacerbate my dry/dehydrated skin.

I do moisturise before the BB though, not sure if you are supposed to.

When my skin is going dry, I use avocado oil last thing at night, day cream first thing in the morning and Clarins instant light complexion perfector before applying foundation. I also find a oil-based exfoliant helps.

For extreme cases I use extra Virgin olive oil every night for about 4 to 5 days until my skin has recovered from its dryness.

I second olive oil, amazing stuff and great for the skin as well as removing make up etc, only need to use a tiny amount as a moisturiser. It is worth looking up the benefits of olive oil.

By Terry Light Expert. Not cheap but amazing. I have very dry skin and it doesn't sit in wrinkles or react badly in dry bits. It's light coverage, more like a TM.

Revlon colour stay for dry skin.

Purple penguin, I almost bought the max factor over the Loreal in boots but opted for Loreal , seems like I should've bought the other.

I bought garnier bb cream last yr but find it far too dark on my skin.

For those of you who use oil for moisturising, do you find it clogs your skin. Even though mine is dry I can't wear heavy creams because it gives me spots.
In The morning I use cleanser, anti aging serum for boots, followed by anew moisturiser and then revlon primer before my foundation.
