Less eyeliner.
Less tan.
Less blusher.

This applies to an awful lot of women.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/04/2014 08:10

Truely-she's had her jamas on and has been watching dvd's and has slept , that's why she looks greatWink

coffeeinbed · 08/04/2014 09:59

She's very heavy handed with the eyeliner and the blusher.
It feels stale, she could do with a refresh.

JohnCusacksWife · 08/04/2014 10:05

She's lovely....leave her alone!

Nancy66 · 08/04/2014 10:23

I think she should:

lose 4 inches off the hair and have some soft layers put in

tone down the blusher

use more shadow and less liner on the eyes and learn the art of 'smudging' - hard eyeliner doesn't look good.

that's being super picky though. she is a very beautiful woman

Darkchocsprinkles · 08/04/2014 10:24

Beware the eyeliner addiction.

That is all

'I think we should stop judging women on their looks, particuarly their make up. Nasty and shallow.'

Was waiting for this.

This is the style and beauty board, it tends to focus on appearance.

flipchart · 08/04/2014 10:28

I think she likes great tbh

Eliza22 · 08/04/2014 10:31

She is unfeasibly tanned. All the time. I wonder if William notices the self tan aroma?

I'm sad to see that it didn't take her long to fit right into the "Royal mould" and I agree, she looks tired and rather scrawny, like she's lost her baby weight too quickly. She's such a pretty girl, she surely doesn't need to wear so much makeup?

PaulinesPen · 08/04/2014 10:39

I think she looks great. No don't get the hair cut it's gorgeous! But I think putting it up for public engagements would be an good thing. She looks bothered by it whipping around and has to keep trying to control it.

Eliza22 · 08/04/2014 10:45

I love her hair. Very pretty.

Mignonette · 08/04/2014 10:46

Get a job and pay for it herself?

Springing · 08/04/2014 11:17

I think she's very pretty but her hair and make-up are really aging - she should have bouncy, shoulder length hair, and softer make-up, which would make her look younger and fresher. Her hair is way too long and her eyeliner is horrible; it's so hard, particularly underneath her eye.

VenusDeWillendorf · 08/04/2014 11:31

Higher hemlines, she's beginning to morph into princess Anne..... She has a great pair of legs, a fab figure, and below the knee kills her.

Less make up, less powder, less eyeliner (although I think she wears it to look like Diana) Her makeup is surprisingly 50 year oldish. She needs a dewy look, with gloss and lighter foundation, if any. And no to the streaks of conturing blush- a dab of creme blush on the apples of her cheeks would stop her looking like some Dubai airlines trolley dolly on an 80s night out.

Less hair. It's looking show pony-ish, and drags her jowls down. She should wear it up a lot more.

But she shouldn't listen to the Queen about her clothes- we don't want another frumpy boxy royal- look at princess Mary, from Denmark: she's got it right I think - fresh natural and appropriate without looking like she's been 'done'.

squoosh · 08/04/2014 11:33

Yes she needs to ignore Queenie and get her legs out. I have major leg envy.

ZacharyQuack · 08/04/2014 11:46

Forget her makeup, I wish she'd sort out her shoes.

TheGrassIsSinging · 08/04/2014 12:57

Ooh no no NO!@getting her legs out.

She went through a phase of wearing just above the knee full-ish skirts with heels or above knee skirts with knee-boots and it was so dated.

She is tall and slim. Midi pencil skirts or tailored dresses and delicate heels are her friend.

I also LOVE her hair. She is young enough and pretty enough to carry off that swishy, shiny mane. No to mum-length and safe.

Love how we all have different advice. I wonder if this is what its like in her dressing room. The Queen pulling a cat's bum face at anything too clingy and her stylist hissing at the pillarbox hats and tartan skirts the Royal women favour.

Poor woman Grin.

Nancy66 · 08/04/2014 13:05

her big mistake is doing her own slap. she has some of the best make up artists in the world falling over themselves to do her face - use them!

MrsCampbellBlack · 08/04/2014 13:07

If I were her, I'd get a stylist, I'd get a make up artist and I'd get some bloody decent shoes.

She is naturally tall, slender and beautiful so has all the building blocks - just needs a little bit of polishing.

squoosh · 08/04/2014 13:13

I think shorter, less princessy hair and shorter hemlines, and trousers on occasion. I'm clearly far too brash to make it as a royal style advisor!

Apparently they have big planning session before these royal trips and plan the outfits down to the last sock.

Springing · 08/04/2014 14:19

Her hair's too heavy for her petite face. It almost joins up under her chin like a big brown beard-blanket.

A friend of mine had very long hair like that, and I always thought it beautiful - so thick and wavy - and then she had it cut so it sort of flicked up off her shoulders and it took about 10 years off her. It suddenly looked so fresh, and shiny and bouncy.

Eliza22 · 08/04/2014 14:51

But she has all those "specialists". The money spent on her style/public persona could probably open a hospital wing or two. No matter what the Daily Mail writes about her shopping at Bobbi Brown and doing her own face for the wedding, she does NOT just get up and do her face/hair and go. It'll be like a bloody military expedition getting the "show on the road".

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/04/2014 14:55

You are right Eliza.

She had BB doing her make up for the wedding, bet there was nearly a fight over the use of all that eyeliner. I can just imagine BB having a fit of the vapours and fanning herself with a copy of the Radio Times Grin

Nancy66 · 08/04/2014 15:07

I absolutely believe she does her own make up - no pro would make her look like that

squoosh · 08/04/2014 15:08

The eyeliner is definitely her own work, maybe someone does her face and as soon as they're gone she's in the mirror with the black kohl.
