I think she looks fine. Her make up needs to be dark enough to look good in photos in all different lights. Her clothes aren't to my taste at all but she can hardly bum around in skinny jeans and converse can she.

Polonius · 07/04/2014 18:16

The heels are a fine height? I don't get it.

Baby was fine though, can't live life scared of what ifs. They're not stupidly high either, barely a platform. You don't know how confident Kate is in heels - you've only got your experiences to gauge footwear with.

sinningsaint · 07/04/2014 19:00

I wasn't disagreeing with the heel height, I regularly carried my dc's whilst wearing heels of a similar height, i disagreed with the comment about the Queens bullying and hemlines. If KM is being so called bullied (I do agree there will be influences along the line) she wouldn't be wearing heels of that height IMO.

Bodicea · 07/04/2014 19:33

The eyeliner looks really dated. To heavy on the lower lids. I read somewhere that she had semi permanent makeup. Don't know if that is true

TheGrassIsSinging · 07/04/2014 19:43

I like her look. I think she would look better with a stone of weight on, but in generak, she looks lovely. Great hair and I like a bit of heavy eyeliner Grin

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 07/04/2014 19:45

Less hair and less eyeliner. Less make up generally. Make up puts ten years on her imo, she looks stunning in jeans and minimal make up.

blueshoes · 07/04/2014 20:12

Shorter hair. It is beginning to weigh her face down.

AlpacaYourThings · 07/04/2014 20:17

I think she looks great.

Why does everyone say Catherine needs to cut her hair? She most definitely should not. Her long hair keeps her youthful and looks better when wearing hats.

The Duchess of Cambridge looks chic and extremely we'll put together and nearly always avoids the frumpy royal look.

Her shoes are fine. To be honest I would be wearing higher courts but she looks gorgeous and a lovely homage to the late Princess of Wales by wearing Catherine Walker.

MrsBungle · 07/04/2014 21:51

I think she looks great. Her hair is fabulous.

glucose · 07/04/2014 21:51

Her hair is great. I am not keen on some of her hats, but I guess they are part of the uniform. Her make up seems fine.

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 07/04/2014 21:56

I think her hair is fine in the "half up do" ie off her face.

Less blusher, less eyeliner.

mnistooaddictive · 07/04/2014 22:00

I think we should stop judging women on their looks, particuarly their make up. Nasty and shallow.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 07/04/2014 23:50

That red outfit she wore in today's papers getting off the plane was the epitome of frumpy imho.

That's not judging, that's commenting. This is Style and Beauty-by nature this place is shallowWink

Bloody hell, George is a cutie though, what bonnie baby he isSmile

AfricanExport · 07/04/2014 23:59

I think she is lovely just like she is. ..

Legologgo · 08/04/2014 01:57

That red thing. And the hat?! Fricken dire. She looked 50

Legologgo · 08/04/2014 01:57

I thought her shoes looked plenty high enough

I think she dresses and looks better than I thought a person could in her position and I also think she looks beautiful and graceful at all times.

If she does look tired at any time I feel warmer to her, my baby exhausts me too and no amount of ysl/haemorrhoid cream can fix that! I tend to use blusher to divert attention from the bags of doom.

truelymadlysleepy · 08/04/2014 06:46

First class or not she looks great having spent 24 hours in the air. I bet she just wants to put her PJs on & lounge about watching DVDs

noddyholder · 08/04/2014 07:30

Less eyeliner and dot cotton hair dye

Deathwatchbeetle · 08/04/2014 08:00

Mumraa - Bags of doom!!!!!

I think she looks fine and if she is telling make up artisits to eep the eyeliner, more power to her. I liked that she did her own make up for the wedding (apparently). She won't have much choice in life now.

Apparently she is a summer.
