Leg Makeover!

Hi! This is my first post in S&B. I have a 'do' in just over two weeks and I want to look my best. I have my outfit sorted but just trying it on has made me realise I need to spend some time & effort on my seldom-seen legs and arms (crinkly elbows specifically!)
If any one has a fast-acting way of toning up my limbs(!) please share. But besides that, any tips, methods and products I could use to get them silky smooth & looking their best would be great. I guess daily exfoliating and moisturising needs to be done? I also seem to have quite visible purple-y follicles on my lower legs (I shave them) and I'll probably go for a lightish spray tan a couple of days before. Thanks!

Sally Hansen leg make up! Fab stuff

I always wear sheer, nude tights when dressing up for an occasion. You can get ones with no toe seam so they're not so obvious. I know tights are obvious anyway but my legs are rubbish so that's how I feel better.

Thanks for your replies! I will check out the Sally Hansen. Had a look on youtube and it does look good. I just wouldn't be sure what shade to get if I've had a spray tan, or if I'd even need it after they're a better colour.

Not sure about tights, and I'm hoping to wear an open toe shoe so would rather have bare legs.

What razor does everyone recommend? And do you use a specific shaving foam? Do you exfoliate before shaving? Or do you prefer hair removing cream? Ta!

Marks and spencer do open toe tights which are great. Make your legs look more polished. Enjoy the do.

Gets some the sanctuary four day oil scrub from boots. Rub on dry legs concentrating on your dry bits before you shower and then rinse off in the shower. It's amazing, your legs will be like new Smile

I have awful legs in the winter - recently I've been using the sanctuary salt scrub- wet skin, massage in then rinse, followed by some nice weleda skin oil at night. I also use San Tropez gradual tan in light/medium, to give a bit of a glow but not too much tan as it is only April! I have tried the Sally Hanson stuff (as have scaring on my legs that can look a bit red/purple) but found it too foundationy iykwim?
