Evil Converse!

I have a pair of these converse dance laces www.office.co.uk/view/product/office_catalog/5,20/2515101291
Which I totally love but a year on the heels still rub so much that they make my heels bleed. I've tried walking while standing on the heels pushed down trying to soften them, wearing plasters and wearing them little and often to try and break them in but it's not happening!

Any tips on how I can wear them without getting scabby heels?

Isn't life too short for all this pissing about ?

Wear socks with your plimsoles

Theawful

Buy those NBs but put them away on probation until everybody has stopped wearing them and moved onto the next new thing Wink.

I have honestly never had a problem with converse. My recomendation would be to break in a pair of DM's and then the converse will feel like silk. I'm pretty sure that is why I think they are comfy!

Socks.

Or these when you start wearing them, before the evils do their shredding. Compeed are the most amazing plasters in the world.

They hurt even with socks. Honestly, I have considered walking home bare foot after 3 hours in them.

Oh I thought we were talking about with socks. I can't cope with any shoes sockless unless it's flip flops.

RiojaHaze · 06/04/2014 18:28

My normal converse are fine sockless, but the fronts of these are so low that there's no way they're designed to wear with socks.

I found this with the firs Converse I had.
Nothing tamed them.

I get the 'lo' style in a 7 (am usually a 6.5) and they are fine.

Annoying
