Kurt Geiger trainers - Ash lookalikes

Just got these in sale at £39!!! The ankle boots are £49 I was tempted to get both !!! The low rise trainers are really lovely - I got the taupe (Liberty) - delighted with them.

Yeah it's like having a fake rolex.

They were £150 originally, and if I remember correctly from way back, they are all made by the same place.

I really wanted a pair of Ash's and thought I couldn't justify the cost so I got an imitation pair. It was never the same and I really love my Ash ones now. I have since bought another two pairs.

It's what ever people feel happy with but to come on bragging that you have got some look alikes instead of saying I've got some nice Kurt Geiger wedge trainers seems pointless tbh.

I saw that, but your two pairs were very different. These are the same (except for the zip), and made by the same place - wish I could find the article about it when they first came, out but it was about 2010 I think.

I'm not bragging about anything. Nobody here knows me if they walked past me on the street and I kicked them on the shins with my favourite trainers so what the fuck is there to brag about?
Nobody knows how many shoes I have and I don't care.

Anyway there are Ash trainers down to between £80 and £100 quid on the Office website.

I've seen a pair of YSL shoes that I love. £520. almost every high street shop has an almost identical version for about £500 odd less. Should I not buy them because they aren't YSL?

mike i wasn't on the wind up. Like I said, I really really wanted a pair of Ash and kept putting it off because I thought they were too expensive for what they were and I got a cheaper pair but it was never the same. When I got my first pair I was made up and they were so comfortable. The pair that I got ended up in the charity shop and the Ash have been better value as I have worn them virtually every single day for work, weekends and casual going out.
I went on to buy a couple of more pairs in the Office sale I love them that much.

Ash trainers are basically just a knock off of Isabel Marant ones though, aren't they? Everything is derivative, there aren't a lot of original concepts out there in the fashion world now.

And anyway, not everyone can afford Ash so it's a bit shit to come on sneering that they're not as good.

Anyway I've told people where there is a sale on for Ash at the moment if they were interested.

I got my Ash hightops from the Office sale and they had some for round the 50 quid mark then. The other styles were round the 80 to 100 quid mark,

Got mine, size 39 and fit is fine but they look quite wide. Think I will wear them around the house for a couple hours and decide after that.
