Shoe Dye...

I have a bit of a thing for tan coloured footwear. It's only once I've bought them that I remember they don't actually go with many of my clothes. Has anybody had much success with shoe dye? Probably Dylon, seems easiest to get hold of! I have a tan pair of kitten heel slingbacks and a pair of ankle boots that I want to dye black, just so I can wear them more often!

I've used shoe dye successfully before. The only thing is, you may need two packs of dye because beige shoes tend to go dark brown with black dye. The dye works better on plain leather (I.e. not patent/shiny).
