your favorite foundation

I am looking for nice, creamy, long lasting foundation. DW is not good for me,too aging. Had a Clinique oil free not long ago, but not very creamy, Max factor anti-age doesn't have a good coverage, i guess my skin is getting drier and need something new.
Which is your favorite foundation?

I love mac face and body foundation...looks very watery but you can build the coverage up in areas that need it and it looks good imo

I like my colour match Boots one www.boots.com/en/No7-Stay-Perfect-Superlight-Foundation-30ml_1427509/. Its not that creamy but goes on very smoothly and leaves my skin feeling soft.

I've been through so so so many foundations, the last one was double wear but it totally fecked up my skin and I ended up really dry and flaky. Went on a shopping trip to town and gathered together samples from MAC, Clinique, Lancôme, no7 and bare minerals, plus tried on a few others that I couldn't get samples of. I took them all home and tried them over te next couple of weeks and no7 super light was the best for me and my skin.

I'd definitely advise doing this, it was great having so many to try at home and I was chuffed that for my skin the best was the cheapest. But I wouldn't just get a make over and buy that day any more, despite being a very instant gratification type of person! I found the no7 colour matcher fab too, I have a very 'normal' skin tone (that is, mine is always the colour you get free in magazine samples etc) but it never looks quite right... Te super light stuff is just invisible on my skin, I'm so impressed till I get even a slight tan in the summer anyway.

I'd like to try revoln colour stay for dry skin too but can't get hold of a sample so I'm planning to email the company and see if they can post me one out.

My favourite is Nars Sheer Glow.

My skin gets very dry but I like this and it gives good coverage.

If you want something creamy, I would consider the Clarins Extra Comfort foundation as that is very creamy. Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown also do ones which are creamy with coverage. If you've got lots of money I'd go for Suqqu or By Terry versions.

The trouble is with very moisturising foundations is that often they don't last that long. I like the Nars one because it lasts. It really depends how dry your skin is, if its hardly producing any oil during the day then one of these might be great, if you do get oil you may need a bit of fine powder or a slightly drier foundation.
