Is there anything I can do for these?! I feel like my jowls are dragging my face down?!

I'm 38 so don't want surgery, but non invasive stuff would be ok. My hubby thinks I'm being really vain, but it's alright for men, they can grow a beard!!

DameDoom, sorry did not see your post about facial exercise making things worse for you. That must have been worrying.
Sometimes that happens for a little while, especially if you tire the muscle too much. Like getting all sore if you work your calf muscles too much. On your face it shows up by making you look tired and worse. Resting from the exercise or taking it gently for as long as needed is the way forward.

And you are absolutely right we can become obssesed with our percieved faults. Funny thing is others hardly notice if at all.
I'm glad the Juverderm worked well for you

OP as others have said you have lovely skin and no jowls yet. Having said that I wish I'd been as aware as you at that age and bothered to do something for my face at your age instead of wating till my mid-fifties.

Do you spend a lot of time looking down at a phone or ipad. I've noticed a negative in my chin area since I got a Phone.

After reading all your responses and knowing that I'm not the only one worrying about it actually made me feel better this morning. Today was the first time, in ages, that I didn't recoil away from the mirror! So thank you very much ladies x

Face massage is really good, it made my eye area look plumper! So I would really recommend that. I did a little bit of face yoga yesterday, but my DS8 is so desparate to catch me and I fear snap a photo of me I need to wait till he's in bed to really start it!

And yes, I do spend a fair amount of time in the ipad/iphone and your right I think it is having an affect, but how high can you hold an iphone without looking like a weirdo??!

Wow never thought being on the phone a lot could affect sagging - no hope for me thenGrin

FrankCarsonsDressingRoom · 27/03/2014 16:59

Omg, I never thought about the ipad thing either! Also, the view in the reflection is pretty unsavoury....

Nope - Juvederm Voluma is made to last longer. It's specifically made for the cheek area and is thicker than the nasolabial fold filler they make. If you get your cheeks done, your nasolabials disappear as they are lifted. Tis wondrous.
