Work clothes help!

I work in a really casual office. I started off wearing tailored trousers and fitted tops but have gradually become more casual as everyone else is and am now usually in either jeans or cord skirts and cardis or sweaters. With the ubiquitous scarf to brighten things up. I have got stuck in a bit of a rut.

I need ideas for what to wear. If I started dressing really smartly I would look incredibly out of place, so no power suits please! It also needs to be warmish as my office is quite chilly, and practical enough to walk the mile between the train and the office. So flat shoes or boots are good.

I am size 10/12 with a bit of a stubborn mum tum after 3 DC. Age 36 so old enough to not be able to pull off the stuff I did in my teens, but not quite ready for "sensible".

Please help!

A couple of blazers with smart tshirts and shirts underneath.

I like h&m blazers:

With this kind of top underneath:

I've got a nice Boden blazer that I wear over a breton top with jeans, the trouble is this only works on a dry day as my wet weather coat doesn't fit over it very well and it is too warm.

Nice idea though, maybe I should look for a blazer that isn't so thick (the one I have is babycord, something like jersey might work better under a coat).

Or leave the blazer at work and just wear the coat on the way to and from work?
