Has anyone bought a whitening toothpaste and it actually works ?
There is so much choice but I don't have the budget to try them all!

Nothing sold otc will contain enough bleaching agent to make a difference. Newish EU regs mean even what the professionals can use is restricted (& I mean gdc registered, not beauticians or stalls in shopping centres)

Consult your dentist to see what they recommend, and see a hygienist for a scale and polish. Certain types of staining/discoloration are better suited to bleaching, steer clear of abrasive toothpastes for long term use for the reasons outlined by posters above.

Well oil pulling worked for me

It's made my gums and tongue pinker too

Scary though that whitening toothpaste can damage your teeth Shock

I think I will give them a miss then.
I do have sensitive teeth , I really wouldn't want to make it worse.

I also have a hygienist appt booked for may.

Thanks for the advice everyone.
