You would need a letter or the notes from your private dermatologist to give to your GP in order for the. To prescribe further antibiotics.
Assuming you did this, was there any reason GP couldn't give you ABs, like other medication or medical conditions?
There are other things like Finacea cream or Rosex. Lots of people rate both. For me Finacea was much better.
Most GPs will hand those out without the need for a dermatologist.
Yes to looking a pt food triggers. Not everyone has them though. I've not been able to find any specific ones. I've tried dairy free, wheat free and low carb. I also cut out tea and coffee but no result.
For me avoiding products with silicone (dimethecone especially) makes a massive difference. Silicone is in flipping everything so I have to hunt around for products. But the literally make my face like this
and it actually hurts. The redness also worsens over time if I accidentally use something with silicones in.
Perhaps also have a look at skin care stuff. Even shampoo and conditioner.
Staying well hydrated. If I'm dehydrated my face is redder.
Can't think of anything else right now. Do go back to GP and have a try with Rosex or Finacea. They do work and can pretty much clear it up for some people.
