Best bb/cc cream

Hello. I'm after some advice on bb/cc creams. I'm a new mum so need something quick and my face has gone a bit splodgy after birth. I don't have time to put foundation on everyday and don't want to look too made up when I go out so thought I'd try a bb cream.

I have fair skin with a yellow undertone (cool ivory in no 7 foundation) and auburn hair.

Can anyone recommend a good cream? Do I need to go and try one as I would with foundation or can I order online Smile

Clinique CC cream great for uneven skin tone I find Smile I sometimes add a bit of foundation over the top but don't always bother

Boots No 7 cc cream here. I always get told I look well when I wear it.

Claris BB cream us the best I've used

Mrskeylime · 19/03/2014 21:13

Ginvera green tea bb cream is excellent. I had a sample in a beauty box once and then bought a tube from their website. You can buy it from amazon as well.

JulietteMontague · 20/03/2014 11:26

TheresLotsoff do you know if Dr Jart would be suitable for a darker skin tone?

TheresLotsOfFarmyardAnimals · 21/03/2014 08:54

I'm very pale but use their lighter shade. I'm not too sure how dark their other one is, sorry. It does kind of adjust though.

Max Factor CC Cream in fair is really good for me, and I have similar colouring to you op.

Garnier BB

I second ginvera green tea bb cream, makes my skin look better straightaway.

I've just bought the bourjois cc cream after seeing lisa eldridge rave about it. Its rather good I think. Good coverage and not too oily which was my problem with the botanicals one

I'm waiting for a tester of the new Estee Lauder one as I really like their bb cream.

McFox · 21/03/2014 11:33

I love the Clinique one too - it gives a great glow and if I feel that I need it, I add a tiny bit of EL double wear over the top.

fiorentina · 21/03/2014 17:35

I also have a baby and bought Bobbi Brown for the same reason. I really rate it.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 21/03/2014 20:48

I just bought this, after testing a few. My foundation is Bourjois 123 in Ivory (51), in case that helps give you am idea of my colouring, and I have dry skin (this feels nice and not drying). The Bourjois CC didn't look good on me, though. Neither did Loreal. Or Maybelline. Or Garnier. I almost have up. The one I bought is at Superdrug for £10.
