Attaching a veil - hints & tips needed

DD is wearing a veil and a small tiara to her 1st communion in May and I want to style her hair and dress it myself. I have found plenty of youtube clips on styling hair for the event but none for attaching the veil. Her hair will be loose waves half up and half down, the veil is attached to a small comb.

Can you attach the veil to the tiara? On my wedding day I had the veil attached to an alice band, with lose stitches, so that I could just pull them out in the evening, when I didn't want to wear the veil any more.
