Someone on this board described their matte nails as 'like suede'. I really liked the idea of this so I bought a cheap matte top coat from the local chemist. I put all my different nail colours on - one on each finger - and put the matte top coat on. It looks HORRIBLE. Yes it's matte but it's made every single lovely colour - dark and light - look like cheap tacky PLASTIC! Not lovely and suedey at all. Should I have bought an expensive top coat or do they all look like this in real life? Thanks.
