for years I had angry, hugely reactive over sensitive skin. stumbled across liz earle (well nicked some from flat mate) about 8 years ago and never looked back. skin is calm and not reactive. I now use the ctm, and tinted moisturiser. but we are really really tight for money, dc 3 due soon and I just cant justify the luxury. anyone found anything as good for sensitive skin? wondering whether to try some kind of bb/cc cream to replace tinted moisturiser.

Aha I know just what you need-super drug natural radiance hot cloth cleanser, looks just like dear old Liz's stuffWink

I'm getting on really well with micellar water atm,I actually prefer it after yeasts of using Liz Earle.

Super drug also do a vitamin e hot cloth cleanser which is also excellent. Both are only about a fiver iirc.

Aldi cc cream seems nice, and botanics BB cream from boots is also good.

I was a big liz fan but switched to boots no.7 hot cloth cleanser and tinted moisturiser.

The NSpa range in Asda do a hot cloth cleanser very similar to C&P, on offer 3 for £10.

No No No - don't do it!!! I was exactly the same as you. Last October, thought I needed to save a bit of money, everyone on here was recommending Superdrug stuff/Boots stuff. I thought what harm can it do. My skin is wrecked, chin broke out in spots that would not go. Got diagnosed with rosacea last week. Fortunately, the gel has really helped, but needless to say I am back on Liz Earle.

Coconut oil works well too.

Adding almond oil is a good idea as that's what was removed one they changed the formula in C and P .

Another vote for Superdrug's hot cloth cleansers. I use the Vit E one and it is every bit as good as the Liz Earle one and half the price. My skin is looking better than it has for years since I've been using it.

LE is very overpriced imo since they changed they formula a few years ago. plus they sold out to Avon, grr!

Soap and Glory hot cloth cleanser is nice, and usually in 3 for 2s at Boots, otherwise the Avene/La Roche Posay sensitive range is great on my reactive skin.
