What colour bag?

I wear a lot of pink, mauve, blue colours and occasionally a bit of green. What colour handbag should I get for summer (can only afford one)? Black is okay for winter and I have a lovely tan bag, but it doesn't really go with the pink hues.

Any suggestions, which don't entail going down the white or beige route :) ?

What about a lightish grey one?

twofingerstoGideon · 16/03/2014 15:23

Grey is something I haven't considered. Will go and have a look. :)

I would second grey or else a matt silvery shade?

twofingerstoGideon · 16/03/2014 16:06

Metallic, Chottie? Not sure about that. Or do you mean non-metallic?

I wear the same colours. I fancy pale grey or silver. Pale grey is proving elusive. This in silver would be nice, but would like a cheaper one. I'm hoping Primark will be my friend. Wink

That's nice, lurking, if it was only a third of the price!

How about this?

DaftSkunk · 16/03/2014 16:37

This is quite nice.

Don't like cross-body bags, but I like the Asos one very much. One for my shortlist!

I like bags that you can hold in your hand (grab bags/totes)...

Thanks for the help so far. Am going for a trawl on ebay now, too!

Hi - TwoFs - I did mean a metallic, but a flat metallic silver, not a shiny silver like tin foil. Sorry if that is not explaining very well, but I was thinking it would be good if you wanted one bag for everything. It would work for everyday, weekends and holidays.

twofingerstoGideon · 16/03/2014 17:44

Thanks for the clarification, Chottie. So a bit like the colour of lurking's suggestion?

Yes, that's right. I have a bag in that sort of colour I bought about 10 years ago from Habitat which I use every summer, it just goes with all my summer clothes.

twofingerstoGideon · 16/03/2014 18:01

is this nice?
Might be a bit too big... If there's a space I tend to fill it!

I have a lavender bag. I think it's a bit marmite but I'm chuffed with it.

twofingerstoGideon · 16/03/2014 19:01

I like that, Chewbecca, but it's out of my price range. I want to spend about £50 max.
I think that's a great colour though.
