I bought one of the loreal ombré hair dye kits, should I do it or is the ombré style not a good look?

I'm 26, I have long wavy medium brown hair and have been blonde before which also suits me. I just fancy a change and ombré seems the best of both worlds!

I'm confident with home hair dye.

Will I look like a twat?

I like the look. Wish I was brave enough but my hair is very dark brown.

Update?

Hasent really done much, a bit coppery blonde at the ends which is nice. I probably should have left it on longer!

At least it wasn't disastrous! I did a standard "frosted chestnut" on my hair this afternoon but it's not quite warm enough.
