Has anyone ordered anything from her collection at Uniqlo? I have just been on and ordered a few loads of things to try.

Just finished placing my order and came on to post about it. Some things went out of stock while in my basket and some I thought "I'll just check the fabric before ordering" and then realised I'd be paying £30 for dry-cleanable rayon. No thanks. So deleted those and carried on with the rest of the order.
Still spent too much Blush

dexter73 · 13/03/2014 09:48

Was that the stretch skirt? I really liked it then saw it was dry clean so gave it a miss. Just gone back on to have another look and some of the things I have ordered are out of stock now.

No, the skipper jumper and the light cardi, so I went for the cotton cashmere cardi instead. On closer inspection the light cardi looked like it would snag really easily as well.

I really wanted to love the sprig dress but realised that I do not have Ines' figure/height and pressed delete. Missed out on the mid-blue linen button-through shirt - grrr

dexter73 · 13/03/2014 09:55

I liked that dress too but thought I would look more Mary Berry than Ines!

exactly, dexter Grin - so I ended up sticking with plain colours and classic shapes - couple of tank tops, couple of t's, linen blend jacket, wrap dress, cardi, light down gilet. not earth shattering but hopefully some of it will work!

TroelsNextCampaignManager · 13/03/2014 10:04

What did you go for?
I really wanted the olive jacket or coat too, but the shade is wrong for me so delete those too Sad

dexter73 · 13/03/2014 10:10

Shirt but in black with white spots
Navy sweater
Tank in blue and pink
Red cardigan
Shirt
Jeans
Chinos
Just a few bits then Grin!!

All sold out in my size. Will check it out in store but suspect it's a blessing as it'd take slightly more than a collarless shirt and panama to turn me into Inese

frankietwospots · 13/03/2014 10:21

Love the vintage chinos. Think I will wait to go in store.

TroelsNextCampaignManager · 13/03/2014 10:21

Good haul, dexter! Would you mind telling me what the shirt is like when it arrives? I was worried it would be too pale for my colouring.

The collection goes in-store in a week's time so that is my second chance to get anything I missed/changed my mind about Grin Blush

TroelsNextCampaignManager · 13/03/2014 10:24

margaret I know what you mean!

teta · 13/03/2014 10:47

Can anyone tell me whether the shirts come up big or small?I have some in my basket but don't know whether to size up( I did for cashmere sweater) or down.

wools · 13/03/2014 11:07

I ordered the silk shirt in both blue and cream and I'm picking them up in store tomorrow. So glad I remembered it was happening today.

LaurieFairyCake · 13/03/2014 11:13

I was looking at the dresses but they only go up to a large which is a 14 according to Uniqlo sizing - not sure if any of the range goes up further?

bigTillyMint · 13/03/2014 11:15

I can't get the checkout to work - every time I get to the final click, the site goes to an error messageAngry

Helspopje · 13/03/2014 11:21

an aside but this pink sheering coaty thingie for babies is gorgeous for £2.90! www.uniqlo.com/uk/store/goods/080661

dexter73 · 13/03/2014 11:56

teta - I would just go for your normal size. I am a size 12 and usually get a Medium in Uniqlo. I do sometimes size up for jumpers though if I want them to have a loose fit.

I love that shirt too.In fact I've bought it along with the blue patchwork one and the vest top.Dexter thank you for the advice.I'm well aware that these things might look like a dogs dinner on me but look gorgeous on tall willowy Ines.

TroelsNextCampaignManager · 13/03/2014 13:41

Laurie what size do you need? Sometimes Uniqlo dresses can be on the large side, but I did wonder if the IDLF collection would be a neater cut...

Shimmyshimmy · 13/03/2014 13:54

I had a look but I think it's not my style, I think Ines could make anything look good...she's gorgeous.

Marylou2 · 13/03/2014 14:33

Most things have gone in my size. Just as well as my dream of looking like the lovely Ines was never going to come true. She just looks fabulous in anything.

Bonsoir · 13/03/2014 14:40

I went to have a look at the collection which launched in store in Paris today.

It is not exciting. It made me think of the ladies wear in Monoprix. Uniqlo seems to be marketing the Monoprix look to the women of the world...

Bananapud · 13/03/2014 15:26

I have ordered a black cotton t shirt and blue silk blouse for collection tomorrow. Am really hoping the blouse is nice and that the size S isn't tiny. I have been looking at blue silk blouses for the last few days but couldn't justify spending £200+ for the Equipment or DVF ones!

wools · 13/03/2014 17:23

I've just logged into my account and they have cancelled my order because one of the items must have sold out even though it was still in stock when I ordered. The other item is still showing as in stock. They obviously don't want my money.
