Banana Republic sizing - big or small

Have to make an on-line choice ...

spot on I'd say but only bought a few items.

I would say quite generous - I'm a 14 and a Medium is a generous and comfortable fit on me. If I was a stone lighter and a 12 I would probably go for a Small instead.

According to their website I am a size 18 there.
I'm a 16 everywhere else so refuse to buy anything of theirs

Hence have not tested it out.

I think it's big and always need to size down, by one or 2 sizes after you have translated from the us size.

Jacket going back.

They have US sizing, so bear that in mind when ordering! Love the way their stuff fits though, it's fantastic!

I found that the jacket fitted perfectly at the back, but didn't meet by about 8 inches at the front (and I'm not busty). I know the fashion is for shrunken jackets, but still.

They sent me a 20% off code though so no doubt I'll be back for more ...
