Getting back on that bike - need outfit suggestions

I have started dating again and need some outfit suggestions.
My default would be skinny jeans and a nice top scarf and biker boots.
But as I dress like this most of the week I need help. I struggle with being trying to be smart casual but often cross the line to looking to dressed up!
I am open to all suggestions. I am 5'0" and a size 12 on top and 8 on bottom.
Oh and at age 44 want to look trendy but not as if I m trying to hard!

Have you looked on Pinterest to find looks/ideas that you like? Maybe add a blazer (Zara do fab ones) and heels instead of biker boots? Where do you like to shop? Mint Velvet are good at striking that balance between smart and casual.

What about heeled boots instead of biker boots to 'glam up' a bit?

Never thought of changing the boots! I do like scarves but seem to end up with them worn in an ineffective way!
I do love mint velvet ! I would love to find a dress that goes between being casual and being smart enough for a date without being OTT
