Effectiveness of sunscreen under makeup

How effective is sunscreen under primer and foundation? At 28 I'm getting concerned about minimising the effects of aging, and I'm not sure if wearing a foundation with spf is enough to protect my face from the sun. I do use a Lily Lolo mineral foundation which has spf 15, but would wearing additional sunscreen under make up be any better?

throw away any tiny bottle facial sunscreens, they are a con. Same for foundation with sunscreen.

buy some 'normal' sunscreen, factor 30, use that. Put the slap on the top.

I use Lily Lolo too and the SPF could just as well be zero if you buff it in.

I wear a fluid sunscreen under, atm using up Chanel but will revert to Anthelios or another fluid high SPF one when it's time to repurchase. Remember that whatever you use, it needs to be a good amount.

I get breakouts from a lot of sunscreens, their base is often really greasy.
