Linen trousers

Hi, I've bought a pair each of black and navy linen trousers from Next (Parallel range) Quite wide-legged.

Not sure what to wear on top to suit my 'classic/ingenue' style profile. They already feel a bit too floaty for me. Should I just go fitted tee on the top?

Flipflops and sandals for my feet? Never had linen trousers before so sorry for daft questions.

I've got linen trousers from next I normally wear vest tops or cami vest tops

I wear mine with fitted t-shirts. I especially like boat neck with 3/4 sleeves. And yes flip flops usually with a slight wedge as I don't really do totally flat.
