Dancegirl I would say the sizing is big. I had to get the 12 and I'm a 14/16 top, 14 bottom. The 14 looked ok but the 12 looked better. I'm a L in their tops,M in their knitwear.

Dancergirl · 13/03/2014 22:09

I'm normally a 12, shall I get 10?

ELR · 13/03/2014 22:59

I've bought so much this month DH would have a heart attack if he realised!!
Whistles tube skirt in navy
Whistles tube skirt in navy stripe
Whistles tan leather belt.

A coral coloured blazer from tkmaxx
Some Lee skinny jeans
A grey thick lace t shirt from tkmaxx

Some gold and tan sandles for when my foot is better.
This bag www.hobbs.co.uk/product/display?productID=0113-1377-020000&productvarid=0113-1377-020000-TAN%20LEMON%20FLO-1SIZE&refpage=outlet/highlights
This necklace www.pretaportobello.com/ppb/chanel-style-single-pearl-choker.aspx
Some black washed look skinny jeans
Some freshwater grey pearl double drop earrings and a matching bracelet got these made by a lady so were a bit pricey but I love them.
Think I have bought some other stuff but can't remember.
It's my birthday next Sunday so treating myself incase DH doesn't!

MrsPeacockDidIt · 14/03/2014 08:52

Dance girl, yes I would get the 10. I'm busty too (34F) and even in the 12 the buttons don't gape.

ELR, that's quite a haul, but all quite classic items so and investment and perfectly justified in view of it being your birthday week.

FracturedViewOfLife · 14/03/2014 10:05

Black ASOS dress

Passthecake30 · 14/03/2014 10:31

www.very.co.uk/south-tall-plain-pencil-dress/1341168310.prd

This. Not sure how long it'll last but I'm 6ft and struggle to find anything really

Ordered a ton of maxi skirts and maxi dresses from very and all went back. They were in the tall range but stopped mid calf, not impressed.

Also put a huge order in for next tall...everything is going back. Viscose fabric makes me smell and the capris were frumpy. Will get some from h&m and wear them short

Lurleene · 14/03/2014 13:41

Can I join in? I am supposed to be culling my wardrobe but I had a good haul in the charity shop today. I only went in to drop-stuff off but...

1 black Laura Ashley pencil skirt for work.
1 Seasalt stripy cardigan.
1 Brora purple silk mix t-shirt
1 East longline grey singlet

All for £14.25. It would have been rude not too, I felt.

PastaandCheese · 14/03/2014 13:46

My DC2 is only a week old so I can't quite buy clothes yet so we took a trip to Benefit and I have the 'Brows a Go Go' kit and the 'Gimmie Brows' to go over the top.

and new foundation and mascara

Very impressed with the way the lady did it in the shop.

What did you buy this month? [MARCH 2014]
AmethystMoon · 17/03/2014 07:10

The Navy long tube skirt from Whitlea with the 25 per cent code. Wear my black one every week and fancied the navy for spring/ summer.
Two rectangular tops from white company, one plain black one black with a grey block panel around the bottom. For work but possibly casual too? Both from an outlet.
Black suedette and gold metal box clutch from Coast in the sale.
Black suede peep toe heels from Carvela on the sale.
Spent too much it pleased with my purchasesSmile

sotiredfornow · 20/03/2014 10:04

A skort from Miss Selfridge which is no longer online.

These Next harem (amazing!) - www.next.co.uk/x5360s8#653551x53

Sandals www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?searchTerm=heartbreaker&storeId=12556&productId=13813683&urlRequestType=Base&categoryId=&langId=-1&productIdentifier=product&catalogId=33057

A ton of H&M basic vests and short sleeve tees

OP posts:
frankietwospots · 20/03/2014 10:22

I've got the smudge print of those harem trousers sotiredfornow - they are ace aren't they! Those tan sandals are nice but I do wish they'd let the model on the Top Shop website have her toenails painted. Poor love!

I've ordered this lot from Next:

Denim distressed shorts: www.next.co.uk/G3990s4#664120G39

Grey/ecru jersey biker: www.next.co.uk/x53176s1#653533x53

Navy capri trousers: www.next.co.uk/G3910s9#898004G39

Off to Gap later to seek out another top I already have (can't find them online but basically a light crew neck knit that I've worn to death in grey and pale blue, so now want the pink) and hoping to find the camo sweatshirt that I stupidly put back the other day Hmm

PamHalpert · 20/03/2014 11:28

This Lady Vintage dress for a wedding in May. Plus an ivory petticoat from the same site

2 pairs of skinny jeans, one from Tesco and one from New look

This shirt

These wedges

This denim shirt dress

This cami

These nude heels

This tshirt in all colours and this one for the gym

6 pairs of capris and 3 pairs of trainers for the gym too from sportsdirect.com

2 Cath Kidston bags and a purple dress from Ebay

This dress from Zulily

This coral cardigan

I'm sure there's more but I can't remember. I'm going to Cheshire oaks tomorrow and I just know I'm going to spend a fortune! Grin

frankietwospots · 20/03/2014 12:05

That's some serious shopping Pam! How does the Tesco denim dress feel? Soft or a bit stiff?

sotiredfornow · 20/03/2014 14:44

I'd also be interested to know - have been searching for a denim dress for forever.

Pam* I've just received my lady v dress in the same print but white and a swing dress. Fits beautifully!

I also got my online orders today of tamaris ballet flats in red and black:

frankietwospots · 20/03/2014 18:06

So I managed to squeeze in a teeny bit of shopping today Smile. Gap are doing a Spring Edit so loads of things are 30 - 50% off. It's on until Saturday in store only across all departments.

Got these khaki trousers with 30% off: www.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?cid=1001059&vid=1&pid=000941851001

This scarf in the blue (sort of camo print) with 40% off: www.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?cid=57591&vid=1&pid=000942234001

A sort of worn looking navy t-shirt for half price which I can't find online.

Also tried this gingham shirt dress on and will get it another time as it was lovely (but I couldn't shove it all in my handbag and hide it at my meeting!) www.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?vid=1&pid=000959423001

Wouldn't normally look at men's stuff but this shirt caught my eye and would work with jeans: www.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?cid=57449&vid=1&pid=000941865000

Sotiredfornow - the dress also comes in a soft denim - www.gap.co.uk/browse/product.do?cid=89625&vid=1&pid=000941889000

schmalex · 20/03/2014 19:08

Love those harems, sotired and frankie. What's the waistband like? Is it stretchy?

thepurplepenguin · 20/03/2014 19:44

This Cath Kidston bag

www.pennyroyalgifts.co.uk/shop/cath-kidston-garden-birds-day-bag/

And these sheepskin boots, because I trashed my celts by washing them Sad

CallingAllEngels · 20/03/2014 19:49

Love that bag penguin !

frankietwospots · 20/03/2014 21:17

schmalex The Next harems are definitely generous. They have quite a soft waistband, perfect for post-baby tums I'd say!

Saurus72 · 20/03/2014 21:43

Returned the Whistles navy biker jacket I bought, as it was too bulky. So my tally for March thus far is:

  1. Whistles sunglasses with 25% discount code - £56
  2. Whistles navy and white stripy tube skirt with 25% discount code - £45
  3. Toast rust top in sale - £25
  4. Toast navy shirt dress - £125

More than I planned, but OK cos I've had a quiet month otherwise.
