Asos dresses sizing and quality

I've found a really nice-looking dress (kimono wrap dress with obi belt, £40) that is Asos own brand. I know it won't be amazing quality, but I think it would be a good option for inbetween Winter/Spring Autumn times. Can anyone please share information re: sizing - does it compare to other shops, e.g. Whistles/Hobbs? Should I size up/down?

I've found the sizing variable, some true to size, some small and some too big, so would order in a couple of sizes if they are available to check - returns are free.

I found it to be same as Topshop.

Quality varies drastically!

Anything I've ever bought I've returned.
I want to like them but ASOS own brand dresses have always been huge and the quality is terrible.
