My 9 month old won't keep her wooly hat on so I've brought her a new one with little ties that do up under the chin - it absolutely does the trick.. but my mother in law (who to be fair can be a bit of a panic merchant) keeps mentioning that she thinks ties on hats aren't safe - they seem to be everywhere at the moment though, what do people think?
