Help tracking down a dress!

Oh wise ladies help me!

A quick decision to get married has thrown me into a fluster finding a suitable dress. Have a blue one I could wear but would prefer cream.

Have seen one in the old next catalogue (888-075), a cream lace dress, 3/4 sleeves. I'm after a 16 or 18. I've tried next to see if they have one hanging around, no joy, I'm going to try and outlet branch this week. I've scoured eBay but can't find it.

Anyone? Any other ideas? My budget is cheap.

Help, only got 3 weeks to sort this!

I had seen that dress on eBay and was put off because it looked a tad short, hadn't considered that they might have had it in their tall range too.

Shoe string isn't the word. I'm on maternity leave and we move house at the weekend. If one more person says but you have to have a cake/flowers/photographer I'll scream. I don't even like cake!

To be honest, it's a bit of a non wedding as we just want to be married without any fuss. Actually, the only people that know about it is us , the registrar and our witnesses!

We've booked the function room at a really nice pub for a couple of weeks from now so will be taking family and friends for a nice meal and drinks.

I'm quite excited now actually!

That dress is lovely, will be lovely to wear again and be smiling to yourself that you're wearing your wedding dress!

I'd like to treat this as a non event and we'll have the big do next year, but people don't seem to believe me when I say that. Wish I could get away with two witnesses, the denial relations are driving me bits already! Might go for a walk somewhere with no signal in a minute!

Ooh, just had a thought... If you are moving house at the weekend would it be better to send it to an alternative address in case it doesn't get to you in time?

The relations getting involved is the main reason that we've decided to tell everybody after the deed is done
