Generally quite prolific re: shopping, and am trying hard to be less so.
Handbags definitely. Not super expensive ones - I like brands like Ally Cappellino and Tory Burch - and buy at outlet stores and sample sales.
Shoes - less so. I like nice shoes and boots, but I like to have several nice pairs that look lovely and are comfy, then I can stop, I don't have an indiscriminate "shoes, shoes, shoes, must by all the shoes now" thing going on.
Scarves are a big addiction for me - I like nice wool and silk ones, so that can be quite spendy.
And clothes - I love nice clothes, love them, love them. I tend to never buy full price though, so am trying to limit my spending to sale times only (I'm 40, so don't have the urge to buy what's in fashion this week and discard it next week). I like high end high street kind of brands - Whistles, Hobbs, Jaeger - and I like good fabrics so sale/outlet/discount voucher us the only way to go for me really. The only thing I don't really have a 'thing' for is coats - I gave a few to cover different seasons, and only buy on a replacement basis when something wears out.
I'm quite annoyed with myself tbh. In the 3 or so months running up to Christmas, I felt like I gad really got my shopping more under control. I had lost the feeling of constantly having something that I was obsessing over, panda scheming about which one/ways to fund the purchase of. Since the January sales though, I have that feeling again. Am currently obsessing over whether to buy a Barbour jacket for Spring, or an Ally Capellino tote. Driving myself crazy.
