Just that really - I have a definite fondness for bags and scarves, but seem to have shopping 'phases'. I will suddenly decide I haven't got any tops and will go and buy a couple of new ones as with looking at them exclusively, I see others I really like, then cant decide which to buy or think ooohh, this will be perfect with such a thing, this will do for whatever and end up buying both........... or several [hmmm] over a period of a couple of weeks.

Oh I do like sunglasses as well - in fact am debating which pair to buy this year.

RavenRose · 23/02/2014 18:50

Doc Martens. I've just bought another pair, a dark purple metallic and the next ones have been picked out for after pay day. I have velvet, brogues, heels, flower print x 3, several patent ones, pewter, skull print, Mary Janes, embroidered ones. One day I will stop but not yetSmile

Depends how fat I'm feeling - scarves, shoes, make up always fit. When I'm feeling thin, accessories are completely ignored. Bags are bought out of necessity, I like them but can't be bothered swapping them around to match outfits.

awaywego1 · 23/02/2014 19:07

jumpers and cardigans..particularly from charity shops..I love a goof woollen item.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 23/02/2014 19:08

Stationery. Esp pens. I have been banned from Cult Pens
Makeup and hair shit too.

Pollywallywinkles · 23/02/2014 19:13

Bags and bags and bags. With some scarfs and boots thrown in for good measure.

Kaekae · 23/02/2014 19:22

Books or DVDs I read and watched as a child so that I can get my children to read and watch them but really they are for me to relive my some of my childhood! I spend too much time on Amazon.

MrsMaryCooper · 23/02/2014 19:28

Nail varnish.
I've reined in the perfume buying but nail varnish seems to follow me home...

teacher123 · 23/02/2014 19:30

I'm being really good at the moment as a year on maternity leave, and then trying to buy a house means that we're on a mega strict budget. However when I have disposable income it's all about the beauty and the make up products. I have over 100 eye shadows, probably 60-70 nail varnishes, palettes a-plenty and all sorts of options and hair products that promise to do amazing things...
Clothes wise I either buy Crew/Joules/superdry or from Tesco, there's no middle ground for me. I have big wide feet so finding shoes is a bitch, so I wear uggs all winter and havianas all summer.

Hopefully after house purchase gone through I'll have a teeny bit more money to spend on myself.... I hate not getting my hair highlighted an cut nicely!

ggirl · 23/02/2014 19:30

makeup definitely

MarshaBrady · 23/02/2014 19:45

I love upgrading.

And finding a better coat, scarf, boot than one I already have.

Tweet2tweet · 23/02/2014 20:16

Sales and bargains- though I've become more sophisticated and discerning over the years so have saved £££. It's open to debate whether I could have saved more by not buying though ;)

Steben · 23/02/2014 20:40

I am a true beauty product junkie but also obsess about clothes and shoes Blush

AyUpMiDuck · 23/02/2014 20:50

Marsha Brady - me too I am always upgrading!
Candles
Shoes
Skincare
Kitchen stuff
Bedlinen
Pound shop stuff!!- definitely not upgrades but such bargains!!
Books from charity shops - I buy too many to keep up with and have even bought duplicates without realising.
I have (ahem) difficult feet and if I find shoes that are both attractive and comfortable I will buy them in several colours. I sell cosmetics but am easily seduced by the promise of a wondercream if it is on special offer especially an obscure german or italian brand. I like nothing more than a few hours browse around HomeSense (TK Maxx's housewares) love towels and sheets and storage boxes....

Sukebind · 23/02/2014 21:11

Books for me, too! Or rather, sometimes for me, but usually for my DCs. I can't resist. To be fair, they are often from charity shops, library sales and second-hand online but they are numerous and sometimes they are brand spanking new ones!

irrationalme · 23/02/2014 21:42

I love clothes, I sell clothes and have to buy them every week. It's an indescribable high setting out each week to find the next batch. They don't even have to fit me, I buy into all the latest trends and get an absolute thrill when a customer says how much they love the stuff. it's guilt free clothes shopping.

Boots and coats. I always feel like they are somehow more substantial and a better buy than, say, a flimsy top.
Stripy tops and jumpers.

Currently obsessing about finding a perfect spring coat!!

happybubblebrain · 23/02/2014 21:48

Books, craft materials and bargains right now.

My current obsession is washi tape, I can't stop buying it. I have over 100 now. Who needs over 100 different tapes? But it is beautiful; and useful; and it doesn't take up much space. So, maybe when I get to 200 I'll stop and move onto something else.

cloutiedumpling · 23/02/2014 21:56

Me too Notcontent. I love buying boots and coats.

Corygal · 23/02/2014 22:08

Capacious cashmere jumpers. I must have 20 in blue, grey or black. I love them. My favourite are the huge V-neck boyfriend ones and the bias cut tunics - yumster.

Debs75 · 23/02/2014 22:20

Mine used to be shoes. I loved buying shoes and they were the perfect pick me upper.
At the moment it is bags. I am never happy with the bag I have so often stuff things in my coat pockets. I have a small collection of 10 bags but I don't have one just for popping for coffee with a friend so that is my next purchase.

It really should be new underwear atm as I have lost weight recently and after almost 5 years being pregnant and breastfeeding I have definitely changed cup sizes. I am still an odd size though so waiting to lose more weight

Debs75 · 23/02/2014 22:24

Raven I wish I could still afford Doc Martens. I lived in mine as a student until they fell apart on my feetSad

BaconAndAvocado · 23/02/2014 22:56

Books for me

Sprees at Primark.

Burma · 23/02/2014 23:03
