What is your shopping addiction? Bags, Shoes, Handbags, Make-up or something else?

Just that really - I have a definite fondness for bags and scarves, but seem to have shopping 'phases'. I will suddenly decide I haven't got any tops and will go and buy a couple of new ones as with looking at them exclusively, I see others I really like, then cant decide which to buy or think ooohh, this will be perfect with such a thing, this will do for whatever and end up buying both........... or several [hmmm] over a period of a couple of weeks.

I've bought more books than anything else I think.
I don't like shopping for clothes for me really, but I've enjoyed buying things for the DC, or acquiring them (by legal means I should add!)
I'm getting more and more fond of charity shops which have such a Win-Win thing going on [scarves]
I've found some nice scarfs there recently

Shoes for me. I've bought 3 pairs in Feb, I think I had 5 in the Jan sales. It's getting out of hand really - DH needs to buck his ideas up so we can buy a bigger house (can't use my salary as its earmarked for shoes).

Bags, always bags.

I keep selling my nice clothes, shoes, scarves etc on Ebay to fund new bags. Soon I will be in my birthday suit with Gucci and Balenciaga beauties hanging from my extremities.

Lots of things! I love shopping. Jackets are probably my thing if I had to choose one thing, velvet jackets, leather jackets, khaki jackets, fake fur and wool winter coats.Have dozens, can never have enough and am always eyeing up something else. Not a sensible one amongst them!

Bags. I have a terrible problem with bags, especially designer ones. Mine were either bought pre marriage/mortgage/child (oh, how I miss my disposable income!) or second hand.

Also boots. Not shoes. BOOTS.

make up, nail polish and hair stuff - my excuse for buying it is needing it for my work kit Grin

All clothes in general, I'm shocking considering my income (which is respectable, but I have a preschool dc and also spend a lot on childcare). I spent over £1200 on clothes last year.

Lately, coats, jackets and knitwear, it's been ridiculous.

Everything. Shoes, clothes, bags, jewellery. I need a walk in wardrobe most desperately.

oops - forgot to add my current weakness, jewellery.......... y'know as in Zara, not Tiffany. Think it is a reaction to the dark miserable evenings to have something pretty and bright and shiny Smile and fortunately costume variety doesn't cost too much!

Books.

I can't resist them! I go into Waterstones, just to see what's out in paperback and I never, ever manage to leave without a couple. And I usually get a couple for my boys too, so that's four each time I go in.

I also pick them up from the supermarket, from offers in the weekend papers, from independent bookshops if I'm in a town that has one, from the airport, train stations, when I'm abroad and see books that are hard to find at home, plus I have Amazon Prime to support my habit ...

I'm ridiculous for a lot of things ... Luckily not handbags or shoes. I am lucky enough to own three mulberries ( all gifts ) and shoe wise I have uggs, mint velvet ankle boots, Clark's black biker type boots, and ballerina flats. Kinda just the basics covered there.

My real passion is clothes and make up. I have lots of gilets ( jack wills, fat face , joules ) and lots of striped tops. Loads of fitted jumpers. Loads of pyjamas. Skinny jeans are a weakness - I must have 30 odd pairs of those alone.

And I won't start on my make up habit.

I just love nice things and enjoy buying them. And then I wonder why I've run out of money Grin

Costume jewellery. I have about 500 pieces now, most of which have never actually been worn.

Nail varnish probably comes out top, but I'm not a massive shopper. I am a sucker for 'investment pieces' of any description though, and have to remind myself not to invest at the expense of being able to buy boring basics like pants. To be fair, I do wear and love my expensive clothes, but need to be sensible!

Sunglasses. I can see a whole season through in the same pair of shoes but ever since my first pair of Chanels I've been hooked! I don't wear them all. Just open the sunnies drawer and stroke them lovingly every now and again.
